“Where’s Mary?” This question was asked by our plumber as he walked into our home just this past week. He had been here during the summer and was touched by the Blessed Mother’s presence as pictured above. Below is what his eyes now saw! The stunning statue of the Blessed Mother “gone!” Clearly a big difference and very noticeable!

Psalm 139
As shared in a prior blog, this beautiful statue of the Blessed Mother was in my home for 139 days. That number certainly pointed to the Psalm of David – 139. This prayer of David speaks of the Lord searching us and knowing us.
It is the following words that I wish to draw your attention to in this blog:
“Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence.”
This verse from Psalm 139 seems to be so fitting as to the question that our plumber asked. Why? Psalm 139 speaks of the Lord knowing us…but it also speaks of our Heavenly Mother knowing us as well.

Where’s Mary?
She’s with us!!!! She knows each one of us personally for she is our Mother – given to us at the Cross by her Son.
Yes…“Mary” was assumed into Heaven but she has not stayed there and will not stay there until she gets all her children safely home to the “eternal Kingdom of God.”
“You discern my going out and my lying down,
you are familiar with all my ways.”
The Calling
Much was written about this statue in my last blog. However, I now wish to share the “divine” that happened on her first visit back in 2021.
I first set eyes upon this statue at a retreat in 2018 and “she” left a lasting impression on my heart. Much like “she” did to my plumber! Three years later the “miraculous” happened. A question was asked of me – “Mary wants to come to your home – will you be there in about an hour?”
“Yikes” as I say! I couldn’t believe it! I was actually about to go into Mass when I got the text. Driving home I kept thinking “She’s coming!” I made it home so quickly! I even had time to order beautiful flowers for her arrival.
Yet, there was to be another “calling” and another “coming!” Mary had designs for two of her children.
Read on! You will not be disappointed!
Call Cathy!!!
The above picture shows how beautiful she looked on that first day surrounded by blossoming roses. I didn’t know what to do first! However, the Blessed Mother was about to instruct me on what “She” wanted me to do for her!
You will notice in the above image that the statue is flush to the floor. John – her guardian – had left the pedestal home and asked if he could bring it the very next day. Of course I replied! I was agreeing to everything!!! I was up in the clouds for sure!
After he left, I was so overwhelmed with joy! I know it’s a statue, however, Our Blessed Mother makes her presence known strongly through them. She would do so in the minutes following John’s departure out the front door!
“Interiorly” I heard the following gentle whisper to my heart. . .
“Call Cathy and ask her to come tomorrow!”
Who is Cathy?
As mentioned in prior blogs, we have a beautiful prayer group that prays for priests. We have been together for over 7 years now. We actually formed one month after that retreat in 2018 where I first saw the statue of Mary.
What keeps us together is a daily email that usually goes out each each evening for the next day. That email shows four priests who will be prayed for with a special rosary and the person called to pray for them. The rest of the group all joins in with their rosaries as well.
Cathy had been brought on by another friend so I did not know her all too well at that time.
I asked myself, “do I call this woman who hardly knows me?” Will she think I’m in la la land?
Well – the Blessed Mother had a desire and I was given a directive – so I called “Cathy” obediently. She was invited to come the next day and she accepted wholeheartedly! Thanks be to God!

How Can This Be?
In the “divine realm” there is nothing, nothing that is impossible with God! Correct? We hear these words all the time – but do we truly believe them?
The next day Cathy and John arrived almost simultaneously. He came with the pedestal and also with some of the history of the statue. He also brought the “rosary beads” pictured above that were used in the procession in 1967 in Brooklyn, New York. The procession was for the anniversary of the “Miracle of the Sun” apparition in Fatima on October 13, 1917.
As we entered into conversation with one another, John revealed that the statue had gone to Brooklyn, New York upon arrival from Italy. The statue had been commissioned by a lay person who was a parishioner of St. Francis de Paola Church.
As we sat listening to John, I glanced at Cathy and I noticed a look of surprise covering her face. If I remember correctly, tears were also filling her eyes. “Oh my God”….that was the parish I grew up in!” – Cathy exclaimed.
Cathy went on to share with John and myself that she and her husband Tony got married in St. Francis de Paola in Brooklyn in the summer of 1970. That upcoming August of 2021 – they would be celebrating their 51st wedding anniversary.
On the Altar
We were all exhilarated by this sharing. If John hadn’t left the pedestal behind, he would not have come back. If he didn’t come back – we might not have had the history and information that Cathy needed to know. It had become very clear why the Blessed Mother wanted “Cathy” here to visit the day after “She” arrived into my home.
Cathy went home filled with joy and shared that joy with her husband Tony. What were the chances that this could happen? Could there be any more surprises? Absolutely!
They would be guided to take a look at their wedding pictures and what did they find?
What they found was a picture taken on their wedding day at St. Francis de Paola – 51 years prior.
“Where is Mary?”

Her Presence
On Cathy and Tony’s 55th wedding anniversary they would once again be in the “presence” of the Blessed Mother statue that stood by them on their special day in 1970 here in our living room.
They presented the Blessed Mother with the most beautiful bouquet of white roses. It was very surreal to take that picture of them both under “Her Gaze.” It would certainly be placed and treasured in their wedding album to marvel at for years to come.
I began this blog with a question that the plumber asked of me. “Where’s Mary?”
Let us ask ourselves that same question! Where is “Mary” in our own lives?

Love Her – Love Her Rosary
October is the month of the Holy Rosary! How many times has the Blessed Mother left Heaven to appear on the battleground of this earth to show us the way to victory? What is always asked of us by Mary? Whether it be Fatima, Lourdes and Medugorje – she asks us to pray, pray the Rosary!
Where’s Mary?
We find her when we hold our rosaries and pray with the heart. We find her in each mystery and in each bead as if finding her image in her “own” family picture album. In that “finding” we are united with the Mother of God and a “Mother” that we can call our own.
More importantly – in this story –
She shows us that we are never ever out of Her sight.
She is always there following us with a Mother’s heart. . .even from Brooklyn to Long Island!!!!
Where is Mary?
Waiting to “Mother” Us!
Answer Her Call!
HAIL MARY
