In Loving Memory

Deacon Lawrence Klimecki

I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Queen of Peace contributor and tireless servant of the Body of Christ, Deacon Lawrence Klimecki.

The End of a Pilgrim Adventure

Our entire life here in this world is a pilgrimage, a word that embodies adventure, journey and quest all in one. We are on the path to eternal life and our mission is to purify ourselves so that we are fit for that life and to bring with us as many people as we are able to. – Deacon Lawrence Klimecki, The Pilgrims Adventure, 3rd Sunday in Easter

Truth, goodness, and beauty are timeless attributes of being – transcendentals that exist beyond our worldly senses.

In life, in family, in the art and language of iconography, in writing, and in ordained service to the Body of Christ, Deacon Lawrence Klimecki, like our Queen Mother, was a living proclamation of the greatness of the Lord.

His life was fully lived for others – reflecting the truth, goodness and beauty of Jesus Christ – the Way, the Truth and the Life.

We Are Made for Each Other

AnNita Klimecki, beloved wife of Lawrence for nearly 40 years, is in need of our prayer and financial assistance.

Hardship prior to the sudden and unexpected passing of Deacon Lawrence has drained all financial reserves and she is now without a household income.

Providentially, Deacon Lawrence wrote of our humble dependence on members of the Body of Christ as community in this homily to have been delivered April 29. The Lord called Lawrence home on April 26.

God is a community of three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and being made in His image, we are made as a community. From conception we are dependent upon a network of other people. None of us can exist as isolated individuals cut off from the rest. This extends even to how God has chosen to make Himself known to us. – Deacon Lawrence Klimecki, Homily: We Are Made For Each Other

A Blessing and Privilege

We have always considered it a blessing and a privilege to labor beside Deacon Lawrence in the Lord’s Vineyard as contributors to Queen of Peace Media.

Well done, good and faithful servant! May you soon behold the indescribable beauty of the face of God and intercede for us before His heavenly throne for all eternity! May your soul, and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

This tribute was lovingly written with Anita Guariglia and Christine Watkins.
